Contemporary Art
As a contemporary artist I have a multi-layered social arts practice which includes painting, installation, sound art and experiences that engage the community in themes of identity,
the natural world and memory.
My curatorial artist practise brings people together for reflective moments that ignite the community with stories of identity, nature and equality. As a contemporary artist, I work to support the development of arts and culture in Ontario & beyond.
As an arts educator I work to inform & facilitate exhibitions, talks, workshops and events.
By developing educational programming to strengthen arts and culture from, historic collections to artists contemporary practices.
My abstract paintings are a study of being in silence and space, a meditation where identity dissolves and barriers that separate humankind disappear. As an artist I work to led the viewer beyond the limitations of cultural differences and the vast distances that divide societies.
Mediums; acrylic paint, ink, minerals, & objects
Hot Box Mississauga, invited the community to recall the historic train derailment & evacuation of 1979. The contemporary art installation incorporated over 50 illustrated bedsheets, sound art, & performance in collaboration with community actors & musicians. Thanks to the Ontario Arts Council.
Invited by Rooms Gallery to Kent Cottage as resident artist in 2019. I worked with the land to produce 100 artworks on paper. These graffiti style botanical illustrations respond to divided times, tales of immigration while calling for compassion. Thanks to Landfall Trust,
and the community of Brigus, Newfoundland.
My drawings lead the viewer to see their own connection or disconnection to moments in time. As an artist, I work to express a quiet reflection regardless of the differences in race, religion, sex, abilities while supporting a healthy unified community.

Colour affects how a person feels and spaces call home. My artist practice adds colour to the lives of seniors living with Dementia. Deinstitutionalize a room or a retirement residences facility by adding colour and bring colourful memories back for life.
HotBox mentorship project supports the development of artists by creating outdoor sculpture in public spaces. Visitors experience natural site specific installations in the park while outside of the gallery setting.
